Gulliver's Travel

One stormy night at sea, a ship was wrecked. All the passengers on board drowned, except Lemuel Gulliver. Gulliver was a excellent swimmer and swam for many miles before he reached shore. Gulliver was very tired and decided to sleep. He would look for food after he had had sufficient rest

Gulliver slept for a whole day. When he woke up, the Sun was beating down upon him. He tried to move, he could not. His hair, hands, legs and body were tied to the ground. He saw little men running all around him. Someone had got a tiny ladder and was climbing up to him. The little man, no bigger than Gulliver's thumb nail, came up to him ears and said, "You are in the land of Lilliput; we are Lilliputians. We are taking you to our Emperor, so please do not make any trouble. You will be shot at." Gulliver almost laughed at this threat but nodded.

A huge wooden structure with wheels was brought. Gulliver was slid on to it after much struggle. The wooden structure was pulled through the streets of Lilliput with all the Lilliputians lining up the streets.

It was a carnival atmosphere which the Lilliputians seemed to be enjoying themselves, much to the amusement of Gulliver.

Finally, they arrived at the Emperor's palace. The Emperor was there to receive Gulliver, "You are indeed a strange sight. If you are to stay here you will have to be of service to my people here," he said pointing to the crowd. Gulliver said, "I agree to any condition but only if you untie me."

Gulliver was freed. He was provided with food and water, a house was built for him. It was a monumental effort by the Lilliputians, who were all out to serve Gulliver. Gulliver stayed with the Lilliputians, helping them with many small tasks.

It so happened, that the neighboring kingdom of Bleuse were not on very friendly relationship with Lilliput. The King of Bleuse declared war on Lilliput. He took a hundred ships to mount an attack.

The Lilliputians ran to Gulliver for help. The Emperor said, "Don't let us down now Gulliver; we need your help." Gulliver walked into the sea. He took long rope, tied all the hundred ships together and dragged them in the water. Gulliver pulled the ships the whole day, until the army of Bleuse was giddy and in no position to fight.

The King of Bleuse came begging for peace between the two kingdoms. The Emperor agreed. Gulliver was hailed as the hero and lived in Lilliput for many years.

Hello Guys! Today we will learn about fauna and fauna around the world!


There are much of fauna and flora in the world. Today I will give you the detailed information about camel. Camel had some species too, there are ,Camelus bactrianus (two-humped camel) ,Camelus dromedarius (one-humped camel). I will explain the Camelus Dromedarius

ABOUT CAMELS

The average life expectancy of a camel is 40 to 50 years ,A full-grown adult camel stands 1.85 m and at the shoulder and 2.15 m at the hump. Camels can run at up to 65 km/h. The dromedaries camel 300 to 600 kg. The widening toes on a camel's hoof provide supplemental grip for varying soil sediments.

The male dromedary camel has an organ called a dulla in its throat, a large, inflatable sac he extrudes from his mouth when in rut to assert dominance and attract females. It resembles a long, swollen, pink tongue hanging out of the side of its mouth. Camels mate by having both male and female sitting on the ground, with the male mounting from behind. The male usually ejaculates three or four times within a single mating session. Camelids are the only ungulates to mate in a sitting position.

DIET

Camels aren't picky about what they eat. Their thick lips allow them to eat things that most other animals couldn't, such as thorny plants. Camels are herbivores, though, so you won't find them eating meat.

Filling up on water, when it's available, is very important for camels. They can drink 30 gallons (113 liters) of water in just 13 minutes. Their bodies rehydrate faster than any other mammal.

WHAT MAKES CAMELS UNIQUE?

Camels are mammals with long legs, a big-lipped snout and a humped back.Camels' humps consist of stored fat, which they can metabolize when food and water is scarce.In addition to their humps, camels have other ways to adapt to their environment. They have clear eyelid that protects their eyes from blowing sand. Two rows of long lashes also protect their eyes. Sand up the nose can be a problem, but not for camels. They can shut their nostrils during sand storms.

LIFE CYCLE OF CAMELS

The one-humped camel does not reach maturity until their third or fourth year for females and their fifth or sixth year for males. At this point sexual reproduction may occur seasonally. Pregnant females often will separate from the herd and form a herd of other pregnant females.

HABITS

Camels like to stay together in groups called herds. The herds are led by a dominant male, while many of the other males form their own herd called a bachelor herd. Camels are very social and like to greet each other by blowing in each other's faces.

HABITATS

The dromedary camel, also called an Arabian camel, can be found in North Africa and the Middle East.Camels are usually found in the desert, prairie or steppe. Though many people think that camels only live in hot climates, they do well in temperature ranges from -29 degrees C  to 49 degrees C

The event of school (TUAN DIRGA)

Indonesia has celebrate their independence day on every 17th August. Indonesian people celebrate by make some competition like panjat pinang , balap karung , etc.

On Saturday , 19th August 2017 ,My school celebrate this event too , in here we compete with each other class , the competition are bancakan , bakiak , make some yell yell ,and gobak sodor , in our country that's a traditional games. That games actually played by kids on 2000's , but our school choose this games , to preserve this game.

This event start on 7 a.m until 1 p.m at Lapangan Bali. Firstly we make a line base on the class , and then after that we try to playing that games , start from making yell-yell.So if we moving from one game to another game we sing our yell-yell . We(X Science 5) face against X Social. Every game we did , and every game we always lose. there is one game left,there is tarik tambang , so we must win in this game.But i don't believe it , and we lose again!And finally , we doesn't got anything . And this event was over . we disappointed about that result , but that's OK , maybe we will win another day ,

So I was proud because I have celebrate the independence day of Indonesia 72th anniversary.

The event of school ( LDKS)

Hello! I will tell you about LDKS


What's LDKS? LDKS is the program to make students more discipline and more diligent. My school held this program on  21-23 September at Pussenif.

Day 1
Thursday , 21 September 2017

First day, we gathering at the field on 06.30 am .In here we divided by some groups . Each group contains thirty people.After that we moving to hall , in there we  got some materials about civic education.And then at 12.00 we prepared to lunch , we must eat quickly .At the afternoon , we got some materials too , but when someone give some materials, the male students should shave and cuts their hair with embarrassing model.At night we got some educational too until 21.00 , After that we go to bedroom for rest . But , at midnight we awakened by army because emergency situation.after that we go to mosque to praying.and then we go back to bedroom at 2.00 a.m

Day 2
Friday,22 September 2017

We woke up on 4.30 and prepared to pray Subuh ,and then we did a morning exercise.After that we have a breakfast and take a bath.We must sprightly and quick. At the morning we taught about line of march.we try to make more discipline.We learn about this all day.At 11.00 we prepared to pray(Jumatan) .When the preacher give us a materials , majority student of SMAN 3 Bandung fell asleep. i think because we very tired. At the afternoon on 5.00 we go to Taman Makam Pahlawan , i don't know why we should go there , in my mind that place were scary and haunted. When we arrived at there , we pray Maghrib first , and then we given a briefing . Before we sign in to grave , we given some letters there are a sentence ,we must keep that sentence. That letter like our secret, we should't tell to anyone.We prohibition to bring a lighting like candle or flashlight . I got sign in into the grave on 23.00 , I think there was scary , but the reality is fun! At there we have some challenge like push up , eat some chili ,etc. After that we go back to Pussenif at 2.00 pm and go to bed.

Day 3
Saturday , 23 September 2017

I think this day is the awaited day because we can go home.On this day we have an excited activity , we do outbound and make yell yell from each groups.After that we prepare to go home , and then on 3 p.m we do a closing ceremony and we going to home.

Ah , from that event i got a lesson , that we must more discipline and more brave.

The event of school ( GATHAPRAYA)

Hello! Today i'd like to tell  story about cultural festivals.

Did you know? SMAN 3 Bandung has presented cultural festivals called Gathapraya.I think this event is very excited and really cool! Gathapraya means future,so this event wish that we could have a better future. This event held on 30th September at Jalan Bali.It starts from 7.00 until 22.30 .



This event was so amazing and entertaining.First,The event was opened by some student of SMAN 3 with her beautiful quran recitation.We prayed for the continuity of this event untill the event closed.

I watched so many perfomers which are very good and satisfying.but I watched this event at the backstage because I am the commission of this event division Production Manager , my task are help some guest star to perform , for example I bring their stuff from their own car to backstage.I watched drizzling,they are dancers and they danced so uniquely yesterday,they combined traditional and modern dance so it became an interisting one.And then I watched Elevoice , there are the students of SMAN 11 Bandung, they have a gold voice. This event continued with Band 3,Elevoice,MK which are so awesome.We felt so proud because the governor of West Java,Ahmad Heryawan attended the event so this event was watched by the governor.Other than that, I watched Vina Candrawati,the sand painter,she painted traditional culture from Sunda she painted cepot,our mascot.Continued with KPA,KPA is the community who plays angklung.KPA from  SMA 3 is so famous,so so many people came to this event and watched KPA,It was so breathtaking and contained deep culture that we have to preserve.Then,we watched Elephant Kind and HiVi,one of the most famous band in Indonesia.We enjoyed the show with our friends,finally this event was closed by Nidji,who doesnt know Nidji?,This band is very famous in Indonesia.The famous song of this band is Laskar Pelangi , who doesn't know?

I think this event was really amazing , so I'll never forget about this event.
